Obama never gave Bush any reason to consider pardoning himself
I get the feeling that it was just a way to lull Shrubya and crew into their natural state of motionlessnesses up to the very end and eventually to their regret.

9. Before the changeover, could he have pardoned himself?
I don't think so. Wouldn't Nixon have pardoned himself in that case?

4. He is already Pardoned himself(??)
I understand he pardoned himself for the war crimes in 2005. Maybe BS, don't know. I don't see how a pardon can be used for the murder of 23 POWs.

7. I thought that all along
I thought it was a good idea to lull them into a false sense of security about the consequences they will face out of office. Why tip your hand when they can still do damage?
