I was saying on another thread that the anti-Establishment Right, ranging from the crank-Libertarians to the true neo-Nazis, will now be attempting to gain support against a new, relatively liberal establishment, led by a black president from a very multi-ethnic and multi-national background.

Unfortunately, there is occasionally a tendency on the part of some progressives to accept right-wing views if they are opposed to the current Establishment and to argue that the left/right distinction is irrelevant or an empty label. 16. Shooting Ranges Will Be Busy Today...

I can almost relate to their pain. I watched the first boooosh inaugural...kinda like watching a car wreck, I couldn't look away...watching Presidents Clinton and Gore all the time and hoping at the last moment some miracle would occur and Gore would take the oath instead. Didn't quite happen. In '04, I spent the day at a museum...it was too cold to visit the cemetary.

Earlier I was scanning hate radio and the venom is on full boil. One show claimed Reverend Wright was all set to move into the White House on Jan. 22 and another claimed plans were already afoot to take away everyone's guns. And, of course, they all howled about how the media was giving Obama a free ride. Of course these oxygen theives never consider themselves to be a "media".
