What ,if any, recompense did Californians ever get from Enron gaming the electric grid?

Were there any paybacks or rebates?

Were there any civil or criminal fines?

Did anyone go to jail?

Did anyone ever try to figure out how many people and small businesses went under?

Was anyone ever personally punished for screwing Aunt Millie and laughing about it to boot?

1. There were lawsuits pending -- Cruz Bustamante was instrumental ...

in filing them. And then Ah-node was elected and he
just didn't pursue them. I recall legal experts at
the time saying that if pursued, CA stood a good
chance of winning against those Enron a-holes.

This was the ENTIRE REASON the recall effort was
even mounted ... to get Enron off the hook for a
big payout.
