"Change won't happen overnight..."

I like coming here and i don't pretend to know a lot about a lot...but I am passionate about politics and I like to learn. I am so excited about tomorrow...and I find myself giddy about the prospect of Obama finally becoming president. The thing that frustrates me right now are the people that insist that "Change will not happen overnight."

I may be naive but even I know this. I don't expect to wake up Wednesday morning with a surplus of income in my checking account, the economy booming, or AIDS being cured. What I do know is that people are energized, excited and ready to act. Just watching TV today, I found myself in tears over the idea that we are finally on the same page....we do want to Change. Even die hard conservatives are moved by the notion that the United States is once again motivated to change. Elizabeth Hassel-bitch had some decent comments about Obama today on the View.

Anyway I just felt I needed to share. We aren't stupid, we're just motivated, energized and captivated...and that energy can produce great things.
