He was the head of his boat club in Beacon, NY and I was selling at a fare they were holding. He was hysterical to watch... doing little detailed things, walking around meeting the vendors and then performing. He also performed at another tiny venue that I sold at and he meeted and greeted everyone. The first time I met him was eons ago at the Woody Guthrie Memorial Concert held at Carnegie Hall.
He is just as lovable now as he was then.
