This was great judgement from skilled, well trained Union pilots (Thanks TahitiNut) from US Air, disciplined crew members and passengers who were as calm as Obama and said women and children first. This was about the ferry crew, the fire and safety people. so spare me the miracle business and give skilled, disciplined human beings their due.

Here (England), we use "miracle" in a much looser sense, to mean simply something extremely rare and unlikely. So the pilots being skilled enough to set the plane down was a miracle of skill and judgement.
