What's up with Cheney?

By ANN McFEATTERS
Friday, January 26, 2007

A group of Republican lawmakers was waiting for an elevator on Capitol Hill when one of them said in frustration to his colleagues, "What's with Cheney? Anybody know?"

One colleague muttered, "The guy's getting a little strange, seems to me. Big chip on his shoulder."

Vice President Dick Cheney has re-emerged from the shadows, causing a new ripple of speculation about whether his pit-bull attitude serves the president well, whether he's the one dictating Iraq policy, whether he's even thinking clearly.

...

Cheney, a former congressman from Wyoming, has been the point man with conservatives. But they are dismayed about the focus on Iraq, saying it has robbed them of the chance to get their agenda through Congress. They want abortion made illegal, tougher curbs on immigrants, more border security, a constitutional ban on same-sex marriage, permanent tax cuts and private accounts for Social Security funds.

2. Gosh, conservatives are having it so rough
bush and cheney totally fucked up on Iraq and the conservative agenda of hate, hate, hate has taken a back seat to some form of damage control from the two monsters that lead their party who are spending more and more time thinking about what "accountability" really means.

His #1 concern has always been total secrecy OF EVERYTHING! To have his actions, orders & MO laid bare to the world during the Libby trial is probably making him more of an AH than usual. I feel sorry for the prople who have to work with him, but I just love seeing him pi**ed off!

4. The Libby trial is getting a little too close to the REAL truth and I believe.......
cheney, rove et al are deeply involved in the outing of Valerie Plame. The WH psychopaths NO longer have their minion majority in either house of congress to provide cover; cheney will probably fly off the handle and start another one of his 'F' this and 'F' that tirades. The Dems MUST keep interrogating and investigating the MOST corrupt WH that has ever existed, even more corrupt than nixon's WH.

7. Puh-lease
I don't for a second believe that any Republican member of Congress could possibly be wondering what deal is with Cheney. I mean, I'm just a doofus with a dial-up modem on the West Coast, and I know that he's in trouble up to his pacemaker and that the Duke Cunningham/Bob Ney Express is waiting at the station for him. How much better informed must congressional Republicans be?

And if Republicans are truly concerned about getting their narrow-focus agenda items like abortion and gay repression passed, well, they have six fucking years of the clearest field imaginable: A cowed populace, a compliant media, and all three branches of government in hand. Douchebags, every last one of them.

realizing that history is about to record him as the biggest
fucktard in american history... and he's freaking out.
Hope they keep him away from the launch codes...
there's not telling what that man will do.
It's the law of gravitas.
