CBS News sounding kind of propagandish
Commenting on rockets killing the Hamas leader: "Every Hamas bomb that lands in Israel makes this kind of retaliation more likely. Israel never wanted to engage in this kind of violence."

Regardless of what you believe, this verbiage has to be considered pro-Israel.

1. The First Sentence Is Accurate Enough, Sir: The Second Goes Beyond Known Fact
And certainly constitutes, shall we say, editorial comment....

3. If they wanted to be REALLY propaganda-ish
they could say: Israel annihilated the armies of Egypt and Jordan having been attacked on Yom Kippur, their holiest day, left the civilian population largely alone, then signed peace treaties with these two sovereign states and since that time, have never threatened either of them, so what seems to be the problem here?

6. CNN confirms NOVEMBER 5TH attack by ISRAEL ended the truce.
SANCHEZ: And you know what we did? I've checked with some of the folks here at our international desk, and I went to them and asked, What was he talking about, and do we have any information on that? Which they confirmed, two months ago -- this is back in November -- there was an attack. It was an Israeli raid that took out six people.

Now, let me refer you -- it's not just us. We've checked in other periodicals. Johnny (ph), go over my shoulder, if you can. Here we go. "The six-month ceasefire started coming apart at the beginning of November after Israeli commandos killed a team of Hamas fighters during a raid on a tunnel they suspected was being dug for kidnapping of Israeli soldiers. That raid set off more Palestinian rocketing." That's "U.S. News and World Report."

13. CNN talking head chatter does not make facts or Bush would be Pres for another term [hyperbole]
1) The ceasefire was not well honored by either side. Rockets were still launched, people shot, etc
2) The tunnel incursion was the largest violation by either side, preemptive or not.
3) Hamas officially terminated the truce
4) Hamas stepped up the rockets, especially longer range ones once the truce was terminated
5) Israel started the air strikes

Are you aware that in Muslim countries is was called a "hunda"? From Wikipedia

According to Umdat as-Salik, a medieval summary of Shafi'i jurisprudence, hudnas with a non-Muslim enemy should be limited to 10 years: "if Muslims are weak, a truce may be made for ten years if necessary, for the Prophet made a truce with the Quraysh for that long, as is related by Abu Dawud" ('Umdat as-Salik, o9.16). Therfore, hudna can also be interpreted not as a peacful move but as a tactical pause intended only for re-armnent, paving the way for renewed conflict from a stronger position.

15. All of corporate media is sounding propagandish.
Listening to NPR earlier (as corporate as they come) it sounded as though the actions of Israel were a necessary evil, a humanitarian effort to rescue the Palestinians from their terrorible (Democratically elected) government.

I hope Obama enacts the fairness doctrine to prevent more of this radical thinking.

17. I NEVER "toon" in, but the station was still on from a football game
and I wanted to see the "worst of 2008", and they led with this report.

When someone chronicles the fall of the US, I hope Big Media and hate radio are given the "credit" that is their due.
