4. I read an obit yesterday for a gentleman nicknamed "Hap" - his last name? Hazzard. Seriously (WaPo)
Tripp. Well - on the brighter side, he'll likely be the only kid named "Tripp" in his classes when he starts school...

8. It was supposed to be named 'Trip', but they misspelled its name
They were too stupid to notice until it was too late to change.

15. It's also very close to "Trigg" when you think about it.
Maybe she likes the "Tri" thing. Next one will the "Tribb" or maybe "Trikk." Hopefully Bristol doesn't intend to go through the whole damn alphabet before she stops breeding...:eyes:

19. No one in that whole family could tell you who Linda Tripp was.
They're ignorance, cubed.

No, it's more likely she simply didn't know how to spell TRIP, as in "I was taking a trip on drugs when I gots preggernaut."

20. Of course not
He was named for all the trips for the Palin kids that were financed by the Alaskan tax payers. He was also named for the trips to Saks and Neiman Marcus. Trip, trip, drip, drip!!
