27. No, but they remind me of a friend who visits my home often.

My house is a cat magnet because I have the most trees and bushes in the neighborhood (and squirrels and other rodents). Recently a lot of wild/free cats were born in the neighborhood (a litter per every 2 blocks?), many of whom have joined my friend 'Morris the Cat' in visiting me. Now, there are 5-6 young cats who come by for a snack. I feed them dog food left by my dog who died earlier this year - its chicken, so the cats love it. :9

We're doing OK! We have our furniture, and most importantly, the TV and computer! I'm not quite done at the old place, but hope to go there for the last time tomorrow. I'm off this week thank goodness! Trying to get used to this new and not so improved neighborhood. Interesting.

I've been having talks with him. He's a nervous nellie. He's just chomping at the bit.

The neighbors have 2 cats and unfortunately they are all over the neighborhood. But they hang out in my back yard. My cats see them. Fun. There is a black cat exactly like Raisin and a big fluffy Siamese type. I wish they would keep them inside. Oh well. You know how people are.

36. I met the black kitty

when I locked myself out of my house on Xmas night. :rofl:

I had no clue what to do so I picked a neighbor. I picked the right one! A family of 4 kids and a mom&dad were just winding down. Their black kitty was lounging on his condo. Kinda like my place. Very very sweet and friendly. I don't know about the other one. But the lady of the house says they bought it and it's Siamese and it's "pissy". :rofl: Well, sometimes they are.

I don't have my cat netting up yet because the fence isn't fixed. There are missing slats. The landlord said he is putting in several new sections. He had to contact the owner of the neighbors' house and finally he did that. She's going to split the cost with him. So I keep waiting..... I had my old netting torn down so I could use it here. That's why the kids can't go out yet. argh

:rofl: It didn't take him long with a piece of cardboard. I have so many doors and locks, I forgot that my main screen door's lock on the knob was still in place. OMG I felt like a giant chucklehead. We couldn't get the landlord, well gee, it was Xmas. So he took his flashlight and cardboard and did one of those credit card things.

I told him I would call him when I wanted to break into someplace again.

It was so cold, I didn't know what I was going to do. DOI. Thank goodness for nice neighbors who probably did time for B&E. :rofl:

Anyway, I came back and got neighbors a bottle of wine to thank them. Geez, I had no idea so many people lived over there. And so many KIDS !! They are pre-teens and seem nice tho.

48. Mr. smokey adopted 4 koala bears for me!

He donated money to the Koala Preservation Society in Australia. They have a hospital where they rehab injured and orphaned koalas and eventually release them back into the wild. Here's a link to their website:

Man, it's scary to realize I remember all this stuff as it happened, and he's been gone 45 years. For someone who was perceived as so youthful and vigorous, JFK suffered horrible health issues all his life.

Really, I didn't, I was listening a lot and laughing. Mom turned away from her beloved repuke party a while ago, but to hear others chiming in was amazing. An 'I tried to tell ya' would've clammed them up and it was amusing to hear it.

For one brother, it took people around him losing jobs for him to finally turn on Dimson** and the repukes, and he was against invading Iraq from the beginning. Go figure..:shrug:
