Is there a scam here? If so where? Interesting prospect!!!
Dear Sir or Madam,

We would like to offer you a job on your computer.

Job Description:
We send you the texts with important information for our employees
with important information and you need correct the texts as an

Please note that we don't have a fixed salary for this vacancy. We

2. It could not hurt to find out the name of the company and do some research on it.
Of course you should not give them any info that can used illegally like your SS#, credit card #, etc. And if they ask you for any money...cut them off at the knees.

3. They're probably just looking for information.
However, as the link below points out, someone who is emailing Americans from a server in Peru using an email account from Singapore is probably up to something sketchy.

13. Right, they'd want to pay you by direct deposit, of course
and you know what information they'd need.

I'd advise skipping it.

But if you send the required info (benign enough) and then they "hire" you and then ask for personal info like social security #, bank acct. # (to deposit your pay, of course) - well, then you are likely being scammed. I trust nothing that comes via e-mail (re job offers) - was this a spam e-mail?

10. Obvious scam is obvious..........
if it sounds to good to be true, it probably is. 9 times out of 10 these work from home offers are just a scam.

when the scammers ask for my SS number, bank account number, etc. Thanks for the affirmation!!!! Bet as lot of people wil be sucked into this one with the job situation the way it is.
