Mom is home from the hospital and some notes

My mom is 84. Her heart rate was down to 40 bpm yesterday when she got to the emergency room. Tests today show her heart to be in great shape. Her cholesterol is a different story. Lipitor and a new (everything she loves to eat) restricted diet.

The funeral for my oldest daughter Bobbi's maternal birth grandmother was last night. Bobbi could not fly in for it.Very nice ceremony. Still hard to do. Long day after the morning my mom gave me.

I'm now supposed to be off work until Jan 5th. Another operator was injured in a fall when he slipped on some ice at work. So I may go in if they need to cover minimum staff or other emergency. A week and 1/2 with Marta off work too. That's a good thing.

All my family members and several extended members less Bobbi will gather here tomorrow starting at noon.

I'm working on several projects over the next couple of months. For the most part, I won't be around as much as I normally am.

Oh and by the by my 76 year old mom walks and that helps with her cholesterol issues (thanks mom) yes, hers, and mine, are the ones that are barely affected by died
