Upside of Warren fiasco: Rachel Maddows' intelligent and popular show
A few years back there would have been absolute silence in the media about this...remember guys and gals?...now we have one of the most informative and intelligent shows on cable with an erudite and feisty young lesbian woman at the helm...would love to see her interview Warren..he would be toast...I think Obama made a huge mistake in this choice...two steps forward, one huge step back...Rachel is not going to let this go..nor should she...Jerry Brown attorney general in California just reversed his opinion re prop 8.... believing it to be unconstitutional...and is asking for its reversal...the issue is where it needs to be..front and center..and while its distracting for Obama...he chose this...I love the guy..and am more inspired by him than nearly anyone..but growth and evolution are necessary for everyone ..including our beloved president elect...

1. I love Rachel
and you are right. As I said before, another good thing about it is that it has brought the community together even more. I haven't seen us this united and energized since the 80's and early 90's.

2. I love her too
She's the only host on TV that actually lets people finish their sentences without talking over them.
