The rich fuck up: the poor/middle class get blamed
In the case of the banks and the credit crisis, the rich fucked up. They made bad loans, repackaged those loans and sold it. Not only did the middle class have to bail them out via the government, the blame was laid in large part with those who took out 'bad' mortgages.

In the case of the Big 3, the ceo's fucked up. In my opinion a large part of the reason they fucked up was their extremely narrow minded, anti science outlook. Had they believed in peak oil/global warming maybe they would make less crappy and more practical cars. Of course I could be wrong about this, but the point is that the CEO's and upper management made some bad decisions and look who they are blaming: The unions.

I mean seriously, how many times do these bizarrely wealthy people screw up and then blame the rest of us for this. Its outrageous and unacceptable.

1. Why do we keep falling for it
That's what I don't understand. Did you see the article about the former SEC chief who was arrested because his hedge fund was a ponzi scheme? That's what happened. They turned mortgages into an investment vehicle and then let them balloon all out of proportion. And they want to blame US for this mess?

4. All the more ironic since the lower and middle class are the ones doing
the jobs that keep the basic infrastructure running... so who exactly is feeding off of who? I don't believe I've ever seen a CEO wading through manure to grow food for the masses.

3. Some wealthy are using the depression as another opportunity for them to consolidate power. Greedy.
They need to convince folks that it is the little powerless guy who is to blame for our problems.

6. Yeah...
Nothing like using my tax dollars to bail out a bank so I can continue to pay back my loan...

Isn't this called "double dipping?"
