Anyone else tired of the title "czar"?

Car Czar, Drug Czar, AIDS Czar, Municipal Water Supply Flavor Czar.

I recommend we update the title to SME (Subject Matter Expert).

"Czar" is just kinda tired and lame.

The actual title of the Drug Czar is director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy. So "Director" will do. Or does that sound too Hollywood?

As in "crime czar" like Al Capone, et al..."Czar" has never been a favorable term at least to me...whoever thought up the term in the first place was probably a fan of stupid authouritarian recklessness who poo-pooed the idea of resistance as being "Marxist" or "Bolshevik" or even worse "Communist"...Czars have a reputation for being corrupt to begin with.
