Ken Blackwell Officially Joins Race For RNC Chair
http://tpmelectioncentral.talkingpointsmemo.com/2008/12/ken_blackwell.php

By Greg Sargent and Eric Kleefeld - December 5, 2008, 4:25PM

Kenneth Blackwell -- who gained infamy as Ohio Secretary of State in 2004, when the state threw the presidential race to George W. Bush -- has officially jumped into the race for Republican National Committee chair, according to a letter he's circulating among committee members.

"After prayerful consideration, I have decided to become a candidate for Chairman of the Republican National Committee," Blackwell writes in the letter, which was forwarded to us by a Republican operative. "I write today to ask for your vote and endorsement."

1. Repugs are really in trouble if Ken's the best they have to offer...sheesh.
This guy was a "the" idiot among idiots on the Cincinnati city council in the 70's, a disaster at HUD, a loser as the Ohio Treasurer (like how can you screw up that job, eh?) and arguably the "worst person in the world" for the year 2004 given his dual role as Ohio SOS and head of Bush's state reelection campaign.

On election night, Tweety had him on for about 90 seconds to get some comments from Ohio and he spent 89 seconds in some rambling BS about the liberal media. It was almost palinesque in the degree to which it was disconnected to the question.

Blackwell might possibly be the only person they could elect that would make Bush look like a MENSA candidate.

3. Why the fuck is this guy not in a cell someplace? Why haven't dems dug
up every last piece of dirt on this guy and thrown him to the wolves? He did what the RNC wanted, he helped steal an election. Now we need to eliminate his ass from the public arena.

4. This is the same guy who gives out the "worst dressed" fashion awards each year, right?
Where was he when Sarah Palin was turning MILF into a term of derision?
