So said Barney Frank today. He was commenting on Obama's (rightly) saying "We have one president at a time." Frank replied with the quip in tghe thread title.

Obviously was saying we'd be better off if Obama got more specifically involved in the economic discussions.

Frank clearly intended this as one his famous comically sarcastic, caustic comments.

Barney's other quip today. Some congresscritter was talking about a car her family had. A big American station wagon. She joking called it a 'chick magnet". She said everybody had cars they referred to as if they were animate. "Chick magnet was a common term. Except maybe for The Chairman" to which Barney snarked something like "I can say I never felt that appeal."

Everyone laughed.

I love Barney.

In my dream world he was speaker, Hillary was majority leader, and Anne Lewis made sure the two worked in synch.
