..... about seized files and padlocked offices?

Nah ...... must be my mind playing tricks.

It was really all those formerly middle class people now reduced to begging ..... and the police keeping them away from the fat cats who survived and prospered.

1. The contrast was brought home forcefully to me when I asked whether
there was a way to get some financial help with a hospital bill, since my only income is ss. I was told possibly, but only if I could first document that I had no assets that could be sold to pay it off.

I don't think those bankers had to document anything, did they?

6. Not that I heard about. I think their mansions and yachts should be
sold, as well as every piece of jewelry, gold teeth, fancy dishes etc.
When I got sick from hiv I had to end up homeless with a few rags for clothes (homeless for almost 2 years!) before I could even get any medicaid. I know I am lucky I have medicaid/medicare and ssd now that covers medical expenses.
My SSD check does not cover heat, power for lights food but it makes a dent.
I have a partner who has a decent job, he lost his high paying job in early 2002 and we ended up almost homeless, the best place we could afford to live was in really bad shape, the furnace was full of soot and the ducts full of mold, as was the basement, some of the upstairs windows were broken out..I got really sick from the mold too.
We know what it is like, we have been there. We have slowly picked up by the boot straps and managed to pay off debt 10$ a month for some things.
We managed to scrape up a down payment on a foreclosed house that had been abandoned on some land..it was a real steal. 1200 down and 600 payments. It is our heaven on the hills.
WE have been here almost 2 years and got a garden in last summer so that alleviates some of the food bill.
Seems I am always either way ahead of or behind the curve. We had our depression already.
My partner got a recession resistant job. We hopefully will be in posistion to help others later. for now it is hand to mouth. At least we are warm and dry, which I can't say for a lot of folks. We never did believe in going deep in debt like a lot of people have. If we had a credit card we would only run up just what we had to do during an emergency, like car breakdowns. When we got the loan for the house we demanded a fixed rate we did not take as big a loan as we could have. We had to buy a new car so partner could get to work..could not get a loan on a used one because of credit. When the 1990 Dodge Caravan finally quit for good, so we did not buy the most expensive, but the least we could get by on and be dependable that gets 36 mpg.
I am very sad to see so many losing jobs and homes, it is heartbreaking to me for I understand from first hand experience what it is like to have to give up pets, and possessions even tho possessions are not everything. To a family that has to give up beloved members of their families and children who lose the stability that comes from having a home.
I see the rpukes behind all of this as truly evil and unforgivable all for the greed for counters in a game that does not really mean anything to them, but that they ''win'' it all.

2. They need to convict and jail the purps
Not only because it is the right thing to do

But because the Foreign investment firms are keeping a close eye on the honesty of America. There will be no more foreign investment if the American government fails to bring justice to this huge problem.

And since we have so much foreign debt - the world's monetary policy hangs in the balance

William "Boots" DelBiaggo III just got charged for fraud by the SEC.

However, this had not a single thing to do with Wall. St. Nope. This was chump change he scored from people who are impressed by people with numeric names, if ya know what I mean ...
