Feh ....... they got bootstraps ..... let 'em use 'em.
Retrain them for all those new jobs we're gunna create .....
Put 'em in the green collar jobs that are sprouting up everywhere .....
Maybe their grandmothers will die on Christmas so they won't worry about the lost jobs for a while .....
Come on you Republican motherfuckers ..... maybe you, Bob Corker ...... Shelby ...... tell us how bad our middle class is and how this is all their fault.
Reagan, you worthless, worm-eaten corpse, you happy now?

| 1. Look at the bright side. |

Conditions are ripening for a boom in the prison industry. Just keep building that wall around the country, and whoever isn't designated a guard is designated an inmate.

| 3. It's like watching the proverbial slow-motion train wreck. |

But you know, the more I think about that prison idea, the more appeal it has. Inmates make about 25 cents an hour, so at last American labor would be competitive with the Far East.
I guess I'm in a weird mood because I stayed up 'way too late last night finishing John Grisham's The Appeal. It's a novel about how a corporate moneter stacked a state Supreme Court to get "business-friendly" rulings; it was eerily predictive of what happened in Wisconsin a few months ago.
