When photographers get bored, (pic heavy)
Everyone wins!! Between gigs so I made some wallpaper for DUers, Merry Christmas Bill Oreilly! Pan of water, goofy strobes, some tea, coloered gels, and a Nikon D300:

Some more here if you don't like those, putting gels in front of the strobes to get weird lights:

Have at um, sorry about the dust, I have messy dogs.

4. Thank you. The D100 is very nice,
about the only super good thing you get with a D300 is less noise at higher ISOs. You can use the D100 and Noise Ninja and get about the same results. I keep wanting a D3 for my sports shooting but I talk myself out of it and get lenses.

5. Wow! Thank you.
These are beautiful. I was just sitting here after cleaning off my unused programs and thinking I needed a different wallpaper. Perfect, now I just have to decide. Funny, on my other computer I have a SwampRat wallpaper. You all are too talented!

14. What kind of strobes? Very Cool!
These are supremely stunning Michael. Post more of these whenever you get "bored". Are these big strobes or speedlights?

These Nikons just evolve better and better. You'ld love the Nikon D3, though the D300 images must be pretty darn close. 9 frames a second is so addictive on my D3, but that amounts to 110.7 megapixels a second! It puts my 2006 D200 to shame in color fidelity and low noise high ISO's, which in turn put my 2002 D100 to shame. Yikes, just now since Monday, there's the new flagship D3x at 24.5 megapixels! I'm quite satisfied with the rugged versatility and speed of the D3 though; it was worth the additional cost.

20. I may get a D3
I really need it for the Kibbie Dome and U of I football. It's pretty dark in there. I have Novatron strobes but for this I used 2 SB600 and 1 Sb800.
