If bush attacked Iran, what do you think Congress would do?

For the last six years Congress gave everything to this administration they asked for, from Supreme Court appointments, to unlimited power to attack Iraq.

All I see and hear right now is just talk with no substance, i.e. non-binding resolutions

We started a war with a country that had nothing to do with 9/11, and Congress did nothing to stop it

Where is the resolution calling for redeployment or demanding a timetable?

"It is a tale, told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing"

1. At this point
I don't see it happening, after all Senator Warner would rather have dead and crippled troops, instead of being critical of the Chimp!!!

3. Congress will not act until we force them to act.
Get out in the streets this weekend. Stop listening to the nay sayers, the voices of apathy, the bickering whiners and dividers. Don't worry that the media won't cover it. We need to be out in force tomorrow and we need to start preparing for the next demonstration and we need to keep putting our feet in the streets until they start to get a clue.

No I do not expect congress to cut off funding until they have no other choice.

5. Politicians acting like politicians. Tiptoeing around the issues.
Boldness, substance, and risk taking are not in their well scripted playbook authored by the ever present political advisers whose god is the polls.

"Practical Politics" makes it much safer to look like their doing something than actually accomplishing anything.
