1. Tech is just keeping their powder dry, saving themselves for the home stretch.
Think Rope-a-dope.

3. Tech, from what I've seen, is trying to do the same thing.....
that Mizzou did in the conference championship game last year.

They tried to go left-right on the speedy Oklahoma defense. That just isn't gonna do it.

Neither of them is going to the Granddaddy of Them All, the only bowl game worth going to.

7. OU will play for the National Championship if they win out and
Florida beats Alabama in the SEC Championship Game. I would take that over the stupid Rose Bowl if I were a Sooner Boomer.

11. And they'll get hammered again
Honestly, what is it with the BCS and its infatuation with the Big 12? I mean, if Oklahoma isn't losing to West Virginia or Boise State or USC, it's someone else from the Big 12 getting embarrassed on the national stage. The only break in their streak was that fluky win by Texas.

Free tip for Eastern sportswriters and their computers: There's a lot of good football played that doesn't take place in the Eastern or Central time zones. Stay up a little later on Saturday evening and do your jobs.

8. The argument begins who is #2?
Texas? They Beat Oklahoma Oklahoma? They whupped Tech. Florida? punish them because they lost to Mississippi? USC? That is why we need a playoff system.
On a side note my condolences to the Washington Husky fan base first winless season in how many years?

9. Hard to believe a program like Washington didn't win a single game.
And Syracuse only won one thanks to an upset of Notre Dame today. A few years ago, both those schools had good football teams.

10. Just has been a bad season for the Huskies, they have been in
kind of a tailspin since Rick Neuheisel left in a cloud. One can say it really started back in 1992, when they were put on probation and their great coach Don James was forced to leave, but they did have some winning seasons during the 90's.
