Lieberman must have something on everybody in DC.....
No other fucking explanation for this secret vote, which will undoubtedly work in his favor.

1. It could be Liebermann-promoted hype, no? Let's hope that's all it is.

2. Can't someone stuff a rabid weasel in this guy's pants?
Really, Lieberman is a more repulsive sack of opportunistic shit than Norm Coleman, and that thought boggles the mind.

4. LOL, like Sean Hannity?
That would be awesome.

I cannot abide seeing Lieberman's smug, self-righteous gloat if (If? Ha!) the vote goes in his favor tomorrow.

9. Jim Webb could kill him in three seconds.
You do not fuck with decorated Marine combat veterans, save at your own risk.

11. I haven't heard word one out of Webb
I'm betting he supports Lieberman staying on as chair. He's a conservative dem.

7. If that's the case...
...then they would probably have something on him too. Washington is such a small community. I think the more likely explanation is that the congressional Dems, for the most part, are invertebrates and let the obnoxious walk all over them. Lieberman is so in need of a slapdown but the ones who should do it will fold. Maybe Jim Webb can organize a blanket party.

8. Caucus votes are often secret.???..
Not unusual.. Maybe it's some have second thoughts about loosing a 60th vote, that sometimes happens from Lieberman on domestic issues. ?.

10. I don't mind the secret vote, but I will mind if he retains his chairmanship on security
That in itself speaks volumes of why enough Democrats rubber stamped most of what bush sent to them. Because quite a few of them are spineless politicians with no Democratic principles

Whether it was voting for the IWR, or voting for the bankruptcy bill, they have two years to redeem themselves

I won't hold my breath
