AFTER President McCain or Obama takes the oath of office in January, he may have a shiny new black limousine to go along with his not-so-new White House. General Motors is believed to be putting the final touches on a new First Car.

used to be the limousines were built by ford motor co. just saying

3. Eisenhower had Imperials

Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford had the Continentals, AFAIK. Don't know when they went to Cads.

I watched the motorcade going from Andrews AFB to DC come through Alexandria VA in December 2006, as Ford was living in Alexandria when he was suddenly elevated to the Presidency. Cheney was in one of the limos. They had identical license plates, so you couldn't commit any mayhem. You had to guess which of the Cads with the identical plates he was in.

I keep telling them that I can't wait until Obama has 20 inch spinners put on the presidential limo, then goes thumpin' & bumpin' thru DC...
