1. Pesonally...
I think that sometime after Jan 20th, these should be a march on Washington and an Emsil/Fax/Phone flood as well, for those who cannot attend, regarding the jobs situation and the banks that are hoarding the bailout money and binding up the economy.

And no, I do not particularly think it needs to be especially mannerly: Too many manners tends to lull congresscritters back into their comfortable comas.

It's time we stopped being so damned nice to people and started choking what we need out of them.

2. Yes. Simply yes. The reason why we're going to need a march and
a flood of emails is because those in charge who have mucked the economy do not get it! Earlier on Morning Joe one of the guests (a young gal and I don't remember her name)was emphasizing the need for jobs and suggesting infrastructure jobs to get the economy going. But the know-it-alls, Barnacle, Joe and Mika all chimed in how the American public first ran through the dot com bubble money, then housing (using their equity) and finally credit cards AND for some reason people just don't save anymore. Of course we don't save because of the instant gratification meme. Unreal. It's all our fault. Never mind the income disparity that's gotten worse and worse and increased living costs and outrageous medical bills accrued by folks, some of whom thought they were covered by their insurance. No mention of job loss for whatever reason. I guess we just built too many houses, autos,Circuit Cities etc. It's our fault. :sarcasm:

(I love it when I run spell check and I get to click on ignore when Mika is highlighted!)

3. Stop watching the twits! The only way to stop their stupidity is to stop giving them business and
start giving them the bidness! A march yes! Name the day in December!

5. In my heart of hearts I know you are right. I guess I watch for the
daily talking points. Other than early morning network stuff which is just about as bad we have an hour before Washington Journal or Democracy Now come on. Consequently, we watch....should check out IMUS again I guess. If we don't know what these talking heads on the other side are saying, we will operate at a disadvantage. imho

4. That is such bullshit.
Wages have been eroded and every strand in the fabric of society has been rejiggered to put people in cradle to grave debt, with the cocommitent interest charges, so they can make money on your earnings. Health care and the management of the insurance industry are both great examples of that.

It is time to wrest our economy back from The New Mafia. By any means necessary.

6. I know exactly how you feel. But I'm going to give a real president a chance, despite my worry.
