Palin is being mercilessly beaten by thugs, but nothing said is likely untrue
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 05:48 PM by Husb2Sparkly
What's happening to Palin is what might happen if The Scarecrow were to point at the Lion and call him a coward.

It isn't nice. It is mean spirited. The Scarecrow may well be a jerk. But the Lion is still a coward.

I think we should be thanking whoever is trashing Palin. She is worse than depicted. She is pathologically ambitious to a role for which she will NEVER be qualified.

There is no pill that cures Stupid.

She is stupid.

1. I'm surprised
that more isn't being made of her weird "I'm surprised that the other 49 states don't have the same ideas about equality as we do in Alaska...they should come to Alaska to see how it's done." What in god's name is she talking about?

13. I caught that and I agree. She not only disparaged the lower states, but also
implied that only Alaskan women know what it's like to do hard work.

She is such a polarizing figure.

She becomes more incoherent with each passing day.

5. And, lest we forget, vicious as well . . .
Edited on Mon Nov-10-08 05:54 PM by MrModerate
It's not as if she's a nice lady who made a rash choice to go for something totally out of her depth. Her whole career has been one of overreaching, "don't confuse me with the facts," and savaging her opponents -- real and imaginary.

If I were the Republican leadership, I'd be taking names and making sure none of the quisling crew ever got work on campaigns again, because they *are* telling tales out of school in a shockingly unprofessional manner.

But at the same time, the truth hurts, and isn't this what we've been trying to point out for years? That the 'Licans have the brains of pumpkins and the morals of hyenas?

14. I think the tales are coming straight from the Republican leadership.
I'll just bet Palin was a bigger pain to McCain than we know. Sounds like she was obnoxiously insubordinate, sure she was going to be VP and remain untouchable when the campaign was over.

Now it's payback time.

And a team of Sherpas to scale one of her lies...

10. Palin incited mobs to hate and threaten to kill our president-elect.
Palin kills wolves from helicopters and puts bounties on the legs of baby wolves in the dens.

This woman is a monstrosity.

tomorrow and Mika on Morning Joe seems to worship the ground she walks on.

That said.

Not even Keith Olbermann has drilled it into the minds of the American people how totally putrid she is. She left our lower 48 states leaving behind lies that are now gospel in the minds of the mindless. She has incited hate and fear and the truth is totally an unknown concept to her. She is dangerous.

I have said this several times here now on DU. McCain's speech was hailed as graceful, I believe it sucked. If he had the balls, to heal our nation, he should have told the American people, that he and Palin made incendiary shit up and that they were sorry.

24. I wonder if Keith can since they're sending someone
from the same organization to interview her? I was fully hoping he'd say something about Scarborough F-ing rant from this morning, maybe I missed it. I totally agree with you about the McCain speech. Some say he threw the election by really putting country first. But at what cost? Now, we have to truly pray for the safety of Obama and his beautiful family. It's such a shame that Palin was unleashed and we only talk about the clothes, that I think is valid. But really, I agree her rancid spew this past election season is what the press should be digging into and analyzing.

15. Her opinion of herself is not shared by people she considers beneath her.
It's more than just her willful religiously-induced ignorance, it's her sociopathology (is that a word?).

29. it's her sociopathology (is that a word?).
Close enough. That seems to be the requirement to get into the Republican party these day's as clearly Bush is a raging socio-psychopath. I still maintain that it was not McCain's decision to bring her on board. That was something that was forced on him, primarily to get the religious right nutters on board and I think he understood from the beginning this would cost him the election.

The Republican party, for it ever to be a viable political party again, is going to have to divest itself of the religious right. The religious right is a group that sows the seeds of trouble and discontent wherever they go. They are bad for a political party and they are bad for America.

now that she isn't going to be President! LOL

I agree she's getting beat up on, but probably only some of it is true. Republicans can only tell the truth for a few seconds or their faces start to melt like that scene in Indiana Jones when they open the Holy Grail.

30. Sarah under the bus
Dear Sarah I would like to believe you, BUT during your campaigning you never gave us a proper interview, with follow up questions,
Oh, I'm sorry dear, their was one when the question form the third grader, that you still failed. I want to believe that you know that Africa is a continent but, all I have to work with is that you, were very protected and never gave an interview to the press.

The real sad part is that you the true victim of the RNC and to darn DUMB the even understand. You thought that you could play with the big boys, now that the used you like toilet paper and now throw you under the bus you head is spinning.
Get back in your lane you poor failed stupid beauty queen.
Try being a mother to your children, not using them as props, maybe the rest of them will graduate high school. And hope one day they will go to collage and end this ignorance.

How petty after they used you now they want their clothing back, they won't let you keep those rags, thats how much they thanked you.
Poor dear, wake up.

And I'm not thanking those vile, lying freaks for anything. Although it does make for an entertaining sideshow.

Let's just keep it a sideshow, shall we?
