The wonder that is life
(Just felt this is too somber for the lounge)

In moments of exquisite clarity , when even the question of whether we share oblivion or reincarnate becomes unimportant, when such polemics feel like a child worried about spilled ice cream. Yes , in those wondrous moments that are ever so rare in frequency as I pass the years I can only feel thankful that I got the chance to breath this air , smell the scents , enjoy the faces of passer by's and kindred bodies.

It was through no effort of mine , or will , that I came to be, yet here I am ! Sharing a spherical rock hurtling through the void in a sea of stars sprinkled like salt across the heavens. Despite all the collective pain of being , said moments of clarity that grab you and shake you to the bone you cant help it but be thankful and glad and happy that you tasted being , and even if you are no more for eternity this brief sip is so intoxicating and immersing that all beings gladly suffer for its sake.

It is in those moments that you refuse all attempts to reduce that experience , and laugh at the poor reductionists , whether they be clergy or scientists or philosophers. Even the mystic dervishes can drown in the mystery to the extent of numbing their senses to it.
Alas , this special perception , this deep connection with being , those peak states of being are slippery and brief and hard to catch or keep.

lo and behold , I am back to automatic living , as I must , but those moments will forever be part of me , old beautiful friends that I can't wait to meet again.

Just live , think , ponder , and be human, that is all there is to do, for now. What tomorrow brings , and until that which is beyond human comes , is not for us , despite possibly being already here, and when we go , it will not miss us , but that is ok.

peace
