He's been carrying on all morning about how "Reagan was mocked but look how he came back and became one of the greatest presidents of all time." Seems the far right of the party is sending the memo and telling Joe Scar to repeat it over and over.

They are trying to find out who the "scum" was (their words) that's leaking all the stories about Palin.

If the RW thinks Palin is the "New Reagan" then they are even more desperate than most of us thought. :eyes:

On a board that is mostly non-political, we have a poster who says that Palin will not sink into obscurity, and who was dissing NBC for slamming her -- I think he was referring to the reports of her meeting aides in a towel, the spending spree, the ignorance, etc. Anyway, I mildly said I had only heard of this on Fox (from the youtube videos posted here, in fact), and the person repsonded, "Yes, you can trust Fox", without realizing, I guess, that what I was saying was that even Fox was calling her out on this stuff.

I remember when Reagan was enroute to Japan in Air Force One for meetings and his aides provided reading material - some National Geographic magazines - to bone up on Japanese culture.
