And representing an apparent pocket of ignorance, Jean Schmidt has won re-election.


Ohio 2nd District Republican Congresswoman Jean Schmidt has won another term in Congress, by getting more than 15,000 votes than her nearest opponent, Democratic Dr. Victoria Wulsin.

Schmidt arrived at her campaign party at Roberto's Restaurant in Loveland to loud cheers and applause as well as a standing ovation.

She told the crowd she was honored and humbled by again winning her congressional seat.

In a one-on-one interview with 9News, Schmidt said that she is ready to go back to Washington, and "roll up her sleeves" to work together with the new Obama administration.

2. Ugh.....At least she'll be in an even smaller minority now.
The Lunatic Fringe vote came out to support her.
