As long as Obama is considering Republicans in his administration, how about John McCain
for Secretary of the Navy. It would be a gracious move to allow him to finish out his career as a Navy man, but there is also a big upside for Democrats: Governor Janet Napolitano of Arizona would then name a Democrat to fill McCain's seat (unless she gets named AG). But naming Lugar of Indiana to a cabinet post would be a good move to with that state having a Democratic governor (and probably a more likely choice).

3. I'd have a hard time considering John McCain for a post
considering McCain basically came out and called Obama a terrorist during the campaign. Nope - If McCain ran a decent campaign I could see it. At this point, I wouldn't even consider him for chief garbage duty at the White House.

18. I'm sure they are at least as well read as me
Since the Rolling Stone is a major piece of recognized journalism

But I guess you are not that well read either since you had no comment
on the rolling stone article.

4. McCain went too far with the slurs and slander.
He can help President Obama from his job as Senator, but that is it. He crossed too many lines of civility in my book.

16. Do you honestly believe a Senator would give up his seat
to be in the Cabinet? Isn't that a little unlikely?

14. John McCain for Secretary of Muslim and African-American Outreach and Bigot Re-Education.
That piece of scum has a lot to answer for. He should be forced to spend the rest of his life working to heal the ugliness with which his wretched campaign intentionally poisoned our country.
