A very good friend of my mother's had a massive stroke today,
and is not expected to live. But she made it out to vote for Obama this morning, she had the stroke shortly after she came home from voting. This is in Maryland. Mom is upset, but she is doing well about everything. My sincere sympathy to the family, I really liked my Mom's friend a lot.

9. Thanks Shadow, and everyone else
She fell on the way out of the poll, they sort of suspect that may have been the first sign of the stroke. She has a DNR order, so unfortunately it doesn't look good. In Maryland, it probably wouldn't have made a difference, but she was still going to vote dammit. My Mom and her friends are all in the "well over 65" category, and they are blue as their hair.

I mostly told this story to my DU friends to tell DU just how far some people will go to vote for Obama.
