Electronic voting machines have to be abolished.
There wouldn't be any problems voting if it all were done on paper and then counted locally on tabulators and those numbers then phoned/faxed to a central recording office

1. I do not trust elections in this country
It's like elections in, oh, say, Guatemala or El Salvador, when I was a kid.

2. Agreed
And I think the machines are throwing a damper on a landslide victory.

3. No shit Sherlock
There is no excuse for so much doubt. Paper ballots have worked for centuries and they will work for centuries more.

4. It is absolutely insane that the "leading democracy" in the world
cannot count votes accurately.

It is disgraceful.

6. Tell me where to sign the petition!
I SO don't trust this 'new and improved' electronic system, which can be hacked into, intercepted during transmission, altered, and then can spit out the name of the hackers' choice for president.

:argh:

7. Voting on those machines leaves one with an empty feeling. I know that feeling.
