Who else wants to slap their co-workers that voted for McCain?
:mad::eyes::puke:

BTW, when asked why they voted for him - none could come up with a coherent reason. What else is new. :grr:

1. I work in a highly political environment...
Today is the day when we all cut through the crap and just agree that the voters usually get what they want. I have too many friends on the other side to ever let this get personal.

2. I don't understand how you could keep friends on the other side.
I wouldn't classify people on the other side as "friends"

4. Me either.
I am "friendly" with those on the other side.

But they are not my friends.

The 'pukes I know, to a man, would never
do anything for anybody but themselves or
their families -- unless there was money,
stature or a reward in the afterlife
involved.

Really.

9. At this point, it's clearly a sign of poor character
I do my best to keep people like that out of my life.

7. They're just nice people.
Some times you've just got to live a normal life and put politics in perspective.

19. They are Not Your Friends
That is like saying members of the SS are friends of the Jews. Friends have to have things in common. If they are McCain supporters and you are an Obama supporter your core values are at odds, how can you be friends?

FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS VOTE REPUBLICAN

5. Happy to Vent Here
I'm happy to vent my frustrations here, as I chose that "high road" thing for several hours today ...

I'm nearing 40 and back in school studying for a recession-proof occupation (nursing). My classmate and study partner is a 19-year old republican with no claim to her views outside of being the child of republicans. This I can look beyond. I have spent the entire semester listening to her talk about how much she adores Sarah Palin. This too I can look beyond. I have made no secret that I support Obama and have donated and volunteered to his campaign. I have resisted being argumentative, and instead tried to be a calm Obama supporter as an example for a girl who paints "McCain/Palin" on her truck over the weekend, then scrubs it clean on Monday because she's afraid an Obama supporter will slash her tires in the "black parts" of the county our school is supposedly located in. I thought maybe showing her that we're not the "B Girls" would be enough to help her calm down and take that 4.0 brain of hers to new places. I've been wrong, but this to I can look beyond.

Today she showed up in class with her "NOBAMA" shirt. Today. TODAY.

And I chose to swallow my voice out of respect for her (sorry) upbringing. She asked if I would consider staying late after class to help her with our practical exam preparation. I wanted to say, "Only if you'll consider taking off that shirt and shoving it up your tailpipe." But again, I swallowed my voice and told her I had plans to vote this afternoon.

Then I took my 17 year old daughter to the polls and together we made our voices known.

And TOMORROW I will wear my Obama Superhero shirt ... all day long ... and she won't be able to say a word because he'll be President Obama, and respect will be due as per her upbringing.

w00t!

20. You Are Too Gentle
Wimping out and being nice to assholes is why Democrats have had to deal with this shit for eight years. You do not owe her any respect, she has not earned it. We have got to stop being afraid of offending someone.

29. I know ... rookie mistake
I always stood my ground, but I think I allowed her TOO much latitude.

But then again, she'll take her little lumps tonight, and tomorrow I'll rub my joy in her face ... gently as always.

6. i feel the same way :(
although with me it was a few fellow students, a group of females who have no clear reason why they are voting for McCain. Most say they don't "trust" or "like" Obama. One went so far as to tell me his tax plan REALLY raises taxes on people making over 42k a year, and what he has been reiterating is just a fantasy whispered into his ear by Stalin (or maybe it was Lenin's) ghost.

These people are fucking insane and it gets me so frustrated sometimes >.>

10. I don't beleive in the repub way of thinking on anything,
but I do believe that McCain is an honorable man, but what I don't get is how anyone, and I mean anyone, could vote for Palin. It is insulting that she is even on the ticket.

Are you FUCKING delusional? McCain is anything but honorable. Just watching the debates would have clued you in to that fact. You need to be better informed.

They don't like any of his policies, think he'd be a TERRIBLE president, and they genuinely like Obama. When I asked them "Then WHY?" they just look at me blankly and say "Because we're Christians!" :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
