Why do McCain and Palin keep mentioning Barney Frank?

that Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity bloviate and demonize over. My wingnut MIL went on a big rant on how Barney Frank belongs in prison and is a traitor. She was quite vehement--maybe they even had an article in the National Review, I don't know. But it was very odd considering she lives in Florida and hasn't been to Vermont in 40 years.

Railing against Democrats for taxes and defense issues. The difference is that usually the people using the attacks are much more skilled than these two political hacks.
