And by that I mean they simply do not know enough about what is going on in the world or about government itself, to be holding the office they are in.

I do not think Sarah Palin is qualified to be a governor- Maybe someone does not have to be a lawyer, but if they cannot name a single member of the Supreme Court, or think of a single significant case, or tell you what the Vice President of the United States does, they are not qualified to be governor of a state either.

6. I have Ahhnold for my Governor, but I don't know how honestly elected
he is. I think he was maneuvered into office with some help from votes to make him look legitimate. He really took office because of a coup engineered by the neo-cons and although they did it legally, it wasn't kosher or honest. His platform is the old tired Republican one of running the government like a business. Well, we already have had eight years of that nationally and look how well that has worked. Government is not business and doesn't operate efficiently like a business so any time anyone governs that way they leave a mess behind due to incompetence by trying to equate apples with oranges. Ahhnold has done likewise and has made a mess from the former Republican Governor Pete Wilson's tenure that Grey Davis inherited and was recalled for, worse and he hired Pete Wilson as one of his consultant. Just how stupid, uninformed and misguided is that?

7. Celebrities as elected officials...
I don't know how often that works either. Running the government like they teach you in business school does not work. Clinton had a better sense of management. I really prize both education and intelligence- I would love to see a graduate school or law school requirement for the higher offices and I wouldn't count the fundie ones either.
