This could be key to stolen election in 08
If anything suspicious happens in 08 Hamilton County, Ohio will be the key. DUers should keep a close eye on it. I'm betting areas like this will be where the vote stealing would likely occur...typical red areas going to Obama will be the target.

But Hamilton County, which includes and surrounds Cincinnati, was never in anyone's battle plan. Over the past 100 years, its voters have backed the Democratic presidential candidate only four times.

This year, however, Hamilton is up for grabs. Nestled in the southwestern corner of Ohio, where table-flat corn and wheat fields abruptly give way to hilltops, Cincinnati overlooks Kentucky from its perch above the Ohio River.

In 2000, the last time both parties had a competitive primary, 115,300 voters participated on the GOP side, while only 54,600 cast votes for Democrats. This year the numbers are flipped: 83,400 voted for Republican candidates, and nearly 165,000 participated in the Democratic primary. Although Hillary Clinton won Ohio easily, Obama's best showing statewide came in Hamilton, where he won 63% of the vote.

1. What a strange sculpture
photo with the article:

"Cincinnati is home to major social-conservative activists, who form the core of McCain's effort in Hamilton."

4. "major social-conservative activists"
So that's what racists call themselves now.

Cinci, the home of Marge Schott.

2. Not to poke holes in your theory
but you do realize that Ohio was an open primary right? The reason Hillary won by such a huge margin can be attributed to republican registered voters trying to skew the results. Operation Chaos was pretty big back then, so don't be so quick to attribute votes in teh democratic primary equaling votes in the general election.

Besides, regardless of who wins the other side will claim cheating.

3. I don't know about that...
The article said: in 2006, Democrats took over the county commission for the first time in 44 years.

So I don't think all of these voters are partisan GOP trying to skew votes. They wouldn't elect a Democratic county commission if that was the case.

Also the point of mentioning Clinton was to show that this county rejected her in Obama's favor despite being typically conservative.
