10 hour wait for early voting in Atlanta
Just shown on MSNBC, at 12.05 PM EDT - a helicopter shot of a line outside a polling place. Police are estimating the line to represent a 10 hour wait for the people at the end to get in to vote.

No word as to whether or not the poll will stay open late.

2. I live in a blue county in GA & only waited 20 minutes to early vote.

What is wrong with the Atlanta area counties?

I know that Karen Handel (R-SoS)is trying to supress the vote by not extending hours and not having weekend early voting but why couldn't the Democratically controlled local boards of elections not get more voting machines to the polling sites?

4. A 10 hour wait is ridiculous. This election process has to change. There is not enough time in a day
for all those this year that want to vote. Extend hours open more places and extend days if you have to in every state. Just ridiculous. There are people with children, the elderly, the sick who cannot wait for 10 hours in a line. I am angry about this.

5. Wow...I hate to see election day!
I find it hard to believe we can't speed this up, but then again it's a good sign for people wanting to wait to vote! People need to want to vote...do you really want your typical bushbot able to drive to the poll drunk stop in for 2 minutes and go home after voting? If he sees the long lines he'll want to go back to the bar.
