I just caught a headline a few days ago somewhere or another that I believe said Hagan was down by 4. Thanks for setting me straight. Moreover, the news is even better today. Kay Hagen threw the religious charges right back in Dole's face without a moment's hesitation: "You shouldn't bear false witness against a fellow Christian."

Of course, that leaves all the other issues about religion in government still pending, but that was not what was called for in this instance.
