This one hasn't been wrong, but once in 52 years. Their prediction was Obama 54.7%, McCain 42.9% other candidates 2.5%. Here's the kicker, the Electoral vote was a whopping 420-117 in favor of Obama! Obama even took Aridzona, and Alaska! Now if only it was the real thing, I would be dancing in the streets!

1. Here's hoping the kids are parroting Mom and Dad!

It has been ugly at my daughter's school because we live in a VERY Republican area that is kinda redneck to boot. Material Girl (she's 11) is a vocal Obama supporter--she's met him and Michelle both--and as a result there are some of aspiring rednecks that have given her crap at school.

She came home ALL pissed off the other day because one kid was saying Obama is a Muslim and nobody should vote for him. She reminded him about Rev Wright and all that flap about Obama's Christian minister and asked how he could be a Muslim if he goes to a Christian church. The kid said, "I dunno, but my Dad says he's a Muslim and that is enough for me..."

Last time she voted for Kerry along with one other girl in her class (who's father is union guy.) The rest of the kids voted for The Asswipe.

3. I don't think this is a good reflection of the elecorate

Even if most kids vote the way their parents do, we all know that people with children vote based on different issues than people without children.
