1. It's too elite for elitism, this is the kind of elite that looks down on the other elite. n/t

3. Using a poorly informed plumber to lie about Obama's tax plans is ELITISM too
Edited on Thu Oct-23-08 03:32 PM by emulatorloo
How can you so callously exploit a working guy to get other people to vote against their own interests?

Agreed on the wardrobe.

9. That too. I am just wondering, are McPalin trying to redefine "elitism" like the repugs did with
liberal? Seems to me that they are.

10. Not only that, they overspent at Neiman Marcus
I don't know about the rest of you, but I used to look at it at Needless Markup and buy it on sale at Filene's.

They could have done a better job at less than half the cost if they had bothered to use a real personal shopper instead of a paid hater like Larson.

don't have the income to overpay for needless markups?

13. Eva Peron used to do the same thing.
She advocated for the very poor, the descamisados or shirtless ones. Yet, she wore Paris couture, furs and expensive jewelry because she claimed that her followers liked her to look good. At least she did give to the poor. I don't know what Governor Palin has done for the poor of Alaska.

16. Talk about elitism . .
On our local news (Channel 7) just reported that Joe McCain, John McCains' brother, called 911 because he was stuck in traffic. I don't know what he expected the police to do. He thinks he is sooooo special - I guess.

20. i consider it more to be deliberately calling one's supporters idiots who swallow any outrage
she is helping herself with both hands just as she did with the per diem and other cheating in alaska, the woman is a thief, she is proud to be a thief, and she doesn't care if her supporters know it because she knows they don't have the yarbles to protest

her fundy followers are fools that can justify anything and she is sending a message that yeah, i know they're fools and you know what? they'll stand behind me anyway, i can do ANYTHING and take ANYTHING and they'll still justify it

rather frightening, i'm sure many a dictator thru the years has said the same thing and tested his idiot followers in the same way

if you can steal and do anything w/out paying any consequences, why wouldn't you continue to steal bigger and bigger?

21. Is the Valentino clothing line (which apparently Palin wears) Italian?
I know it originally was an Italian clothing company but has it been bought out by Americans? Are the clothes made by American workers? McCain prides himself on driving nothing but American-made cars.

Or is Sarah Palin actually wearing some of that doggone Yourapeein' elitist clothing?

32. george admitted that he wouldn't be elected if not for being a media creation. He knew he was shit.
Thing is, I don't think Sarah gets that she is too. Dumb, she is.

Actually, it's her huge ego, that gets in her way.

She is an even bigger egomaniac than george ever thought of being. Holy crap!

I think she is in for a big awakening. I don't think that Alaskans want her back, at this point.
