So what did we learn today, kids?
1) Valerie Plame was, without a doubt, a covert CIA operative. No more right-wing bullshit. The CIA commented on it definitively. She WAS Covert.

2) The White House made NO investigation. --This is the bombshell. Bush said in press conferences that they were looking in to it. He said people would be fired if found involved. He was lying. There was no investigation into who leaked the classified identity of a CIA agent.

If we keep having days like this, impeachment will put itself on the table.

7. You give them to much credit. They aren't smart enough to digest it this fast.
Wait for Hardball, and Olbermann. And wait for the Sunday talk shows, and newspaper editorials and front page features.

Seriously. The idiots at the 24/7 news channels aren't smart enough to respond that quickly. :)

I'd be kind of surprised if this didn't make the evening news. I do know that it was the top story on Yahoo this morning, complete with a link to watch the hearing live.

We'll see this evening if the M$M has anything to say about it.

I don't want to see any more posts saying it's all for show. They are doing their jobs!

We also verified (once again) that the WH indeed outed a covert CIA agent for political reasons and covered it up.

5. Actually
I don't believe I learned anything. We of the intellectually curious crowd, like you Beelzebud, have known all along everything which was outlined in today's testimony. The white house not investigating their crime? No surprise there.

On the other hand, the ignorant trash constitution hating bastards who comprise bush's base didn't believe a damn thing they heard today because they are way too proud to admit that they and their kind are a cancer on our country.

and said that they didn't want to impede a pending investigation (Fitz) the guy right next to him said there would be no reason not to do an internal to determine if someone needed to have at least a temporary suspension of their security clearance pending a criminal investigation.

The WH guy (Knodell) got really squirmy in his seat.

Plame says she was, Toensing says she wasn't. Upon that hangs the definition of covert agent (assuming that VT's requirement for filing CIA paperwork is irrelevant).

And yes, impeachment chances increase.

Anybody hear the audience member at hearing who said "Impeach Cheney First!"
