8. Focus on the Candidates

I may be an old guy and out of touch, but I really wish the time and effort would be spent looking into and discussing the candidates. I didn't like it when they went after Mrs. Obama and I don't really like seeing this either. There are plenty of issues we can attack McCain about. Going after spouses is just a distraction in my opinion.

This isn't 'going after' Cindy McCain. The NYT's piece was a truthful biography. I don't suppose you think they should have left the embarrassing or damaging parts secret.

And, the report on her lawyer excoriating the Times for telling the truth . . .?
