Republicans are so self-aggrandizing
I was just thinking about the DNC and RNC differences. Republicans have no humility whatsoever. Like the McCain and Palin tribute videos, oh man, they were so terrible. They were like the Senor Spielbergo directed one that Montgomery Burns had done of himself on The Simpsons.

Or how the Obama rocked out to some good music after his speech etc, while McCain had that John Rich farce "Raisin' McCain" playing. Plus all he did was brag on himself being a "Maverick" etc etc. And Palin, who hasn't done a thing, she bragged the whole time too. But back to "Raisin' McCain." Seriously how insecure does somebody have to be to have a cornball boastful song written about them and then have the gall to play it in front of millions of people?

I'd be embarrassed to do something like that. It's one thing to point out something you've done, but to endlessly brag is so shameful. He actually stood on stage while lyrics like this were being sung:

"Well he got shot down in a Vietnam town
Fighting for the red, white and blue
And they locked him up in the Hanoi Hilton
Thinking they could break him in two

He stayed strong, stayed extra long
'Til they let all the other boys out
Now we've got a real man with an American plan
We're going to put him in the big White House

Well we're all just raisin' McCain
Everywhere across the USA
You can get on the train or get out of the way
We're all just raisin' McCain"

Honestly, if somebody has to puff themselves up that much they have no business being president. We've already had one insecure spoiled little boy with daddy issues for the last 8 years and that didn't work out to well. We don't need another.

They actually had signs made portraying McCain-Palin as superheroes, lol. It's good to see they're humble anyway.

2. Maybe Rich can write a sequel to this.
"They're Just Razin' McCain"

Well, looks like no one bought his rap
'cause Republican policy made our economy crap.
Or maybe it was when he put his country's fate
on the line, choosing Palin as his running mate.

They're just razin' McCain
Everywhere across the USA
Sane folks are shouting, "McCain? No Way!"
They're just razin' McCain
