Flipping back and forth from Dave L to Jay Leno....waiting for Rachel

It's a commercial now, but I could not miss Rachel ( still ahead, and not the first guest ) and then I realized that Dave was all prepped and ready to launch another fabulous attack on McCain. A solid and good long one, with new info, and he hit all the high points, made subtle and goring fun of him including the debate, and re-capping again how McCrypt had lied to him and why there was this "feud" going on now. Though he was more eloquent, and wry and funny and deadly.

WOW - he also said there was a negotiation of McCain coming back on the show, but he was not sure he could trust him.

WOW -again.

Like I said before: He will not let up on this. As he said again tonight " The Road to the White House leads straight through here" and he swooped his arm to the seat beside him.

I maintain, that the feud with Letterman, and lying to him and getting ever so caught doing it, was a HUGE nail in Senator McCain's coffin. As large as any mistake he has made, there is a tremendous (is it 6 million)audience out here.

According to Dave, there were other shows McCain went on that night, not just Katie Couric, Conan being another, increasing the deception.

I best go wait for Rachel now.
But we must support and applaud Letterman, he has the podium to "speak" (for us) with a very big stick.

I love Bill Murray, he makes me laugh, but I love Rachel more, she makes me think

she played middle of the road against leno's repuke tendencies that he says he doesn't have
He says he is conservative but also leans liberal (not his word) so she said she is like that too
He liked that she has pat buchan on her show - but he did not get like pat doesn't get - how stupid he comes off
She said pat is intelligent but has some toxic views but can explain his views

I think like Cobert, they don't get the fact that the rest of us can see THROUGH them with her help

The second guest is often shortchanged on time.

The primary guest gets 12:00am to 12:17am on Leno. That's 17 minutes (including commercials). Remove the commercials and it's often 14 minutes.

The secondary guest gets 12:20 or 12:21am to 12:29am. That's only 8 minutes.
