I miss you so. Where did you go?

When you hear this song think about the things we have been talking about for nearly 8 years. Even many more in some ways.

War, health care, gay rights, poverty, homelessness, environment, and so many more.

I miss my America, being a free people.

So many dreams we all shared of the simple life. Free to be whom we wanted, from religion to everything else under the sun. We the people weren't the enemy - we were not the cause of the ills and we stuck together to ensure that we had the rights we all wanted to be just who we desired to be.

The American dream wasn't just owning a piece of land and having a job, it was about the whole package.

Freedom and coming together for one another.

How that became "do for yourself and screw everyone else" and "the people are the enemy and we need to watch them more than the government", I have no idea.

Where did you go? I miss you so. Seems like it's been forever that you've been gone. Please come back home....
