Analysis: Palin's Words May Backfire on McCain
Source: New York Times

WASHINGTON (AP) -- By claiming that Democrat Barack Obama is ''palling around with terrorists'' and doesn't see the U.S. like other Americans, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin targeted key goals for a faltering campaign.

And though she may have scored a political hit each time, her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext that John McCain himself may come to regret.

First, Palin's attack shows that her energetic debate with rival Joe Biden may be just the beginning, not the end, of a sharpened role in the battle to win the presidency.

''Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country,'' Palin told a group of donors in Englewood, Colo. A deliberate attempt to smear Obama, McCain's ticket-mate echoed the line at three separate events Saturday. . .

2. That's coming.
I frankly think they have given up. They were never McCain fans, anyway, and want him out of the way.

Look out for Jeb.

Stay safe, Barack. Now that you have this thing locked, you are in great physical danger. Cheney has no qualms.

4. I think "they" want Palin more than McCain...He better watch his back.
Palin recently approving that $40b gas pipeline (the one that's been kept on a back burner for thirty years), was a real stepping stone for ms Winks.

This is a real tin foil hat theory, but, what if Palin got her wish and Alaska was able to break away from it's union with the United States? She could partner up with an oil company and become the president of the oil rich Nation of Alaska. ...It could happen.
;)
