How much difference would it really make to the election?

3. A small bump for McCain, but not enough to stop the slide downhill.

5. None.
Palin would hit a grand slam tonight, which wont happen, and McCain would still be old and confused.

6. Not much.
I don't think anyone is going to change their mind about Palin now. Those who love her would continue to do so no matter what. Those who don't think much of her are not going to be swayed.

Just "performing" well in a debate doesn't make anyone qualified for the job. And if by some miracle Palin does well, people will know it's because she's been coached. She's still not qualified for the job.

9. Huh? You are saying if Rove still wins? What you say seems impossible...
Haven't we all moved beyond Rove, these days?

10. I have serious doubts that any of this will matter tomorrow.
House is either going to pass or reject this bailout/rescue bill tomorrow, and the next Pres debate is on Tuesday. This debate is a flash in the pan of Thursday evening and Thursday night. The media has over hyped this beyond all description.
