Complete tally of Senate vote including state & party affiliation
Adds up to 74-25 - Ted Kennedy apparently (and understandably) not present. Wonder how he would have gone? Weird mix of opponents! Dorgan, Feingold and Sanders (but Leahy is a Yea) alongside Cantwell and Landrieu and Tester, but also the likes of Brownback, DeMint et al. No surprise from my New York pair, or the three guys on the prez tickets.

Let's flood the House with calls, for all it will do.

From

3. This is nothing more than trying to protect precarious seats!
Yea, they said they wanted a 100% agreement, but they knew that was never going to happen! Party leaders gave a nod to those who were in tight races in their States.

4. What does that tell you about these leaders' belief in representative government?

8. One would think- yet Gordon Smith of Oregon, who's about to get booted
Voted yea.

Maybe a knee jerk against most of the Oregon delegation, who oppose the bill- but still. Wow. How strange.

6. That's what I was just thinking.
Feinstein's a lost cause, but usually we can count on Boxer to do the right thing. :(

7. O.K. Hell has officially frozen over.
That's the only way I can explain why I'm on the same side of an issue as Jeff Sessions and Elizabeth Dole.
