We DO need a plan to rescue our economy and forestall a global financial crisis - we do NOT need as middle and lower class taxpayers, to float the biggest golden parachute in the history of the United States. I agree with Rep DeFazio. The world will wait for a thoughtful plan - in fact, I think the world will greet a true reform with more confidence than it would this latest "planned emergency" plan cooked up a few months ago by Bush et al.
