5. He's in the serious running for "Dumbest Senator,"
and has been for many years.

However, someone on his staff knows how to read. He was one of the first GOPs to go on record against handing the entire treasury over to Paulson, no questions asked.

Generally, I can't stand Bunning but he's not spewing talking points right now.

He does sound like he has had a stroke. During his last campaign, he was absent from debates (sound familiar?) and made inane comments...there was speculation that he was not well. But stupid, he has always been...
